Our Story
The idea to begin a podcast was a rather sudden turn of events. Jana experienced a detailed vision of doing a Bible study podcast with Reata. At first, she tried to shrug off the thought. However, as time went on the idea kept resurfacing and began to transition into more of a calling or compulsion. Once Jana finally had the courage to share the idea with Reata, to her surprise, Reata had felt a similar desire for years, but never had clarity on how her callings would transpire into tangible action. In fact, Reata had even floated out the idea of a podcast/study to another friend nearly a week earlier, but the friend did not reciprocate the same interest.
Once the idea was brought-forth, they spent the next few hours contemplating ideas on how to overcome the hurdles that stood in the way of starting a podcast and launching the first episode. All the while breathing life into an idea that a week earlier, Jana tried to forget. Their ultimate goal to help others (and themselves) dig deeper into God's word, discuss questions that arise, and talk through personal experiences of applicable teachings in everyday life remains at the forefront of their mission for the podcast.
